What’s on in Weston-super-Mare this Christmas

But it is especially magical at Christmas time, with so many things to see and do it can be tricky working out which one to visit first. So, here is a run-down of some of the best events in Weston-super-Mare this Christmas.
Late Night Christmas Shopping
Support local businesses at the Worle high street late night shopping event, shops open till 9 pm to buy your Christmas gifts. There is a Christmas fair at Worle community centre with Santa, stalls, refreshments and cake. St Martin's choir performing.
Christmas Wonderland
Take the kids to the Winter Gardens on the 8th December to visit Santa and his real-life Reindeer! Adults go free at this festive event, which will feature a beautiful hand-tamed owl, party games, disco and hot food. Children’s tickets are £9.50 which includes a gift from Santa.
Icescape
It doesn’t get more festive than ice skating, so if you fancy donning a pair of skates, head to the iconic Tropicana between October – January. Advance booking is advised as this is a popular pastime in the runup to Christmas!
Weston Festive Christmas Tree Trail
Take part in the Weston Festive Christmas Tree Trail to find all 12 Christmas trees around Weston Town Centre to be in with a chance of winning £500! The Christmas Tree Treasure Hunt is on between 23rd November – 21st December every Monday – Sunday between 8am – 9pm.
Winter Wonderland Christmas Party
Head to the Grand Pier for a festive evening in the Great Hall between 4th and 18th December. Catch the Polar Express and be transported to a magical winter wonderland where you can enjoy a two-course dinner followed by an evening of dancing to the Ultimate Party Band. Tickets start at £29.50.
Christmas Extravaganza
In its second year, the Christmas extravaganza at the Holy Trinity Church is a day out for all the family. With market stalls, roasted chestnuts, Santa’s Grotto, face painting and so much more, why not head down to the church on 6th December to get your festive season underway.
