What’s on in Weston-super-Mare this Spring?
With Christmas well and truly behind us, now is a great time to start looking ahead and planning your calendar for spring. Weston-super-Mare has plenty of exciting events to choose from, so grab your diary and make a date with your favourite seaside town this spring!
In Cider Festival
There’s nothing better than a mug of spiced cider to warm you up in the colder months, so if you fancy a tipple (or two!) head on down to the 3-day cider festival at Sand Bay Holiday Village. In Cider is a great way to bridge the gap between the winter festivities and summer festivals, with plenty of entertainment and a super friendly crowd over the course of January 31st – February 2nd. Eat Vegan
Eat:Vegan is a free all-day food and drink festival offering all kinds of delicious vegan fare. With plenty of locally sourced treats for your delectation, the festival also has a cookery school, masterclasses and exciting demos for you to watch. Lego Day!
If you’ve ever wondered what an enormous pile of Lego would look like, then this is the event for you! Join the team from Gincandescence for an hour of building anything your imagination can think of on this super exciting family fun day. Make sure you book in advance as tickets will be limited! The Amazing Bubble Man
If it’s pure wonderment you’re after, then it doesn’t get much better than The Amazing Bubble Man. Louis Pearl has been thrilling audiences all over the world for more than 30 years with the magic of bubble art. From rocket bubbles and flying saucer bubbles to tornado bubbles and square bubbles, this show is one you won’t want to miss! Catch the Amazing Bubble Man on 18th February at 2 pm. 
Weston-super-Mare Literary Festival
Back for its third year, the Literary Festival will take place from 29th February to 6th March. With scriptwriting workshops and talks from published authors, this event is set to be every bit as successful as the last two.
